convert and resize web images
Slimmage
Convert, resize, and compare small batches of web images in your browser
Capabilities and limits
Best for small web-image batches, HEIC compatibility copies, and extracting images from supported containers
Image inputs: JPG/JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, HEIC, and SVG
Other inputs: ZIP, PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, or a selected folder; PDFs render from the first five pages
Outputs: PNG, JPEG, WebP, AVIF, or an approximate traced SVG
Adjust quality and dimensions, preserve aspect ratio, and compare the loaded working image with the result before download
Up to 10 resulting images per working batch; standalone images and ZIP files are limited to 50 MiB each
Selected image bytes are processed in the browser; configured analytics may receive counts, types, rounded sizes, settings, and errors
Animation and source metadata are not preserved; output size and browser codec support vary
SVG output is a simplified 16-color trace, typically based on an image scaled to an 800 px long edge
PDF, Office, and folder paths have no shared file-size guard, so large jobs remain subject to browser memory and canvas limits
